Yannis Psochios

Yannis Psochios has a lifetime involvement with the food and beverages sector where he has worked for years, also holding a specialization degree on their management and logistics. He has long working experience supporting SMEs that operate in the agricultural, food, beverages and tourism sectors in rural areas like Epirus and Crete, Greece.

Yannis has a particular interest in the way that ICT and Web technologies can be applied in real-life situations, and this lead him to co-found Agro-Know Technologies in 2008. For a long period of time he has been serving as the Managing Director of Agro-Know getting involved in to the administration & coordination of its participation in projects like WACOM, eCOTOOL, POLITICS and CerOrganic.

Nowadays Yannis has taken a new role within the team, setting up and coordination the Outreach & Communications activities that will bring Agro-Know in better contact with the real user communities. In his new role, he is spending significant time travelling, working close with the SMEs and communities in rural areas and islands, as well as organising training and pilot events that will expose users to innovative educational and technical tools.
