Developing the skills of Organic Agriculture Trainers for the Balkans

Organic.Balkanet is a two year project funded by Leonardo da Vinci (LdV), Transfer of Innovation of the Lifelong Learning programme.

The aim of Organic.Balkanet is to facilitate the transfer of innovative training practices and e-learning content to the case of vocational education of young and unemployed agricultural professionals, as well as to agricultural professionals in new EU members.

Organic.Balkanet Course Management Platform

In order to facilitate the online delivery of the Organic.Balkanet training courses, the Organic.Balkanet team collaborated with the Lab. Of Distributed Multimedia Information Systems And Applications of the Technical University of Crete (TUC/MUSIC) in order to develop the Organic.Balkanet MOLE (Multimedia Open Learning Environment) platform. This platform will be used by the Organic.Balkanet project for uploading, indexing, storing and delivering online courses to the target users of the project.
